Upcoming Olympus and Panasonic cameras and lenses 2017

If you remember then Panasonic GH5 has the only MFT camera that been released this year that is also in the very beginning of this Year (4th January 2017). Interestingly, Panasonic GH5 was really a big announcement from the MFT manufacturer but still it looks like 2017 has been a slow year for MFT cameras in terms of announcement. However, there are a few big announcement we will get to see by the end of this year and the big will be the Update of Olympus E-M10III followed by some new lenses and a new MFT cameras.

Take a look at the MFT cameras coming in 2017:

Olympus E-M10III

The Olympus E-M10II update is pending for more than two years now its successor is almost ready to get announced and if we go with rumors then July is probably the announcement time. As the rumors calculate РOlympus E-M10III could feature 4K, 20MP sensor, improved AF and improved 5 axis stabilization.

New Panasonic MFT camera

Of course a new Panasonic MFT camera is on the development stage but nobody leaked its name yet. Means the name of the MFT camera is still unknown. On the other hand, no rumored specs have been surfaced online yet. So be on hold to get much more details of the camera. But rumor says it could be announced late summer or early Q3, 2017.

New Olympus lenses during the second half of 2017

We have no good information about the upcoming lenses from Olympus but rumor says the lenses could be announced in the second half of 2017. Probably in November or at some point of Q2 and Q3 of 2017.

New Leica 50-200mm f/2.8-4.0 in late Summer early Autumn

No information regarding the specifications of new Leica upcoming lens but Leica will soon announce an 50-200mm f/2.8-4.0 lens.
