DxOmark tested a set of lenses by using only A7R II camera, but the one which scored more is Sony 70-200mm f/4.0 G. DxOmark says it the best of all lenses they have tested in there lab. By using Sony A7R II, DxOMark recently tested the two highly anticipated Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM and FE 50mm f/1.8 lens. Especially, the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens performance is extremely better that attains outstanding results for sharpness and control of distortion, lateral chromatic aberration, and vignetting. Even the lens is competing consistently with the optically excellent Zeiss Otus 85mm f1.4 (on Nikon D810). Moreover, DxOMark kept Sony lens on second position in their list.
