Sony working on eye Contact Lens Camera

Sony-Patents-Contact-Lens-CameraSony filed a patent for its latest wearable “Contact Lens Camera” and joined the clubs of google X skunkworks lab, who has already filed the patent in 2014 and also backed by Samsung who filed the patent just a month ago.

The patent of Sony will be far superior and will have lots of impressive features comparative to both of them as it will include autofocus, zoom, aperture control, image sensor, microchip processor, storage unit, WiFi antenna, and image stabilization. Also Sony will provide a special feature to its users to control the shutter of the camera by only blinking their eye or specified eyelid movement.

So in coming days, there is lots of expectation that the users will get various wearable “Contact Lens Camera” from different companies.

The image pickup signal processing unit may perform image stabilization for correcting blur of a captured image, the blur being caused by motion of the eyeball.
