We can rely on two different sources of SAR website which have received the official confirmation of Sony A7rII testers related to the upcoming curved sensor of Sony A7RII camera.
If the news is true than the Sony A7RII will be the first Sony FF camera with curved sensor. We have not only seen the patents of such a FF curved sensor camera, but Sony also announced a curved sensor based selfie compact camera. But we are bit confused that that the current FE lenses will support such type of camera or a new lens lineup is needed for such a sensor.
Personally I do feel that the rumor is not true.
