No confirmed words yet on the exact announcement time of the anticipated Sony A7III (Rumored announcement time is November, 2017), but we have got our hands on some rumored specs of the camera. Surprisingly, A7III could be the Trim-Out version of Sony A9, as the rumor mill writes that it comes with 24 millions of effective pixels. And the quite interesting and wonderful part of this upcoming A7III be it could feature the same 693 AF points as of Sony A9.
Have a look at the rumored specs of the upcoming Sony A7III camera!
- 6fps with mechanical shutter
- ISO up to 51200 (expanded to ISO 204800)
- 693 phase detection AF (see here)
- minimum focus sensitivity is EV-3
- 4k 30p recording
If you take a look to the previous rumors of A7III you can see that it would feature Joystick as of A9
Unlike the insane 20 fps electronic shutter of Sony A7III it will have 6fps only. By the way, as closer we get towards the announcement we will collide with much more rumors. Until now, we know a bit that we may not see any changes in the body design of A7III ( expecting to have A9 body?). It would follow A7II design.
