Sony A5100

Sony Alpha A5100

Sony just announced the A5100 camera today, the camera features hybrid AF system same as of Sony A6000 mirrorless camera, the image processor is also same… but even the two major things are same Sony somehow manages to keep the continuous shooting speed limited to 6 fps only where as the Sony A6000 supports continuous shooting speed of 11fps… our specification comparison review is almost complete but we have a two tier architecture.. the specification comparison done by our staff is under review and will be published within 48 hours…

The most important is now you can buy the Hybrid AF sensor / world fastest camera @ $699 (with kit lens) at Amazon

Verdict: Sony A5100 gives you better core specification that includes bigger sensor, PDAF based AF system and very good NFC and WiFi connectivity options… but having less lenses compared to M4/3 format is a sure back-foot for Sony…however based on pure specification comparison review we recommend you to buy Sony A5100.

Verdict: We highly recommend you to go with Sony A5100 since the A5100 is a perfect combination of price and features , with the A5100 you get bigger sensor, advance AF system and more enhanced sharing capability…however A5100 is missing weather shealed and 5-axis IS as of E-M1.

Olympus E-M10 Olympus E-M10

Verdict: The Sony A5100 feature bigger sensor, world fastest Hybrid AF technology … but Olympus E-M10 limited to a smaller sensor size and contrast based AF system. The only plus point in Olympus E-M10 is built in 3 axis image stabilization system… so finally we recommend you to buy Sony A5100 camera.
