By announcing two immersive sd Quattro and sd Quattro H camera, sigma has now registered their name into the mirrorless business. Foveon sensor is widely popular among the photographers for delivering the actual sharp images and with focusing at the same mattter Sigma once again uses Foveon Quattro sensors inside both the cameras. While, Sigma sd Quattro features an APS-C sized sensor and the Sigma sd Quattro H employs APS-H sized sensor for the photographers whose first priority is the image quality. As Sigma claims, sd Quattro has 29 megapixel and can produce the same image quality as 39 megapixel Bayer-pattern sensor does while sd Quattro H has 45 megapixel of resolution can produce that equivalent of a 51-megapixel Bayer-pattern sensor.

Using the max ISO of 6400 both sd Quattro and sd Quattro H are capable of producing RAW images. A little difference in their continuous frame rate sd Quattro H has 3.8fps in continuous shooting, while the sd Quattro has 3.6fps.

Both of two have magnesium alloy bodies so  the Users will find no problem in carrying the camera (easy portable) as well as making durable and rugged. A new 2.3 megapixel viewfinder display equipped in the rear side of the cameras from where 100% of the field of view can be seen and also integrates a  3-inch 1.62-million-dot LCD screen along with a fixed display screen on ther right side of the main display that shows basic setting of the camera and it remains always active.

Sigma also added some new kind of modes to their focus setting such as the Movement Prediction, Face Detection, Free Movement, Focus Peaking and some more. Users can turn on to the Super-Fine Detail feature that produce ultra detail in images. The camera composes seven different exposures into a single frame that helps to reduce the color noise and banding noise of the images while taken at lowlight conditions
