Rumors – Canon SL2 Coming Soon

Canon Rebel sl2

Canon Rumors reports:

We’re told that an SL2 is definitely on the way and may be shrunk even further. While the thickness of the camera can’t change all that much because of the EF mount, the length, height and weight could be further reduced. One of the ways to reduce the size is implementing an EVF instead of an optical viewfinder. Sony has done this with the A77 DSLR, and Canon has said when the technology is good enough, they may also introduce it into the EOS lineup.

But according to the new news surfaced online  Rebel SL2 could have same 24MP sensor the same features as Canon’s recent Rebels have been implemented with. The US name of this SL1 successor will be SL2 but not confirmed what name will be tagged for Europe and Asia names.

Speculating In Erope it could be EOS 150D.

I love my SL1 and would be ecstatic with a slightly smaller version with 24 MP and a focus peaking EVF.
