Yes, there is a probability that that Canon may announce a new line-up of 4KDSLR just above the 5D series or a new version of 5D Mk IV with 4K video recording is comingĀ  soon,

  • Dear Guys
This is the time Canon start modify the body. For example 5D MK4 should come with Larger LCD not only 3.3 something body is big need bigger LCD and touch screen. With more stronger and brighter illumination. RAW to JPEG. and Edit software to utilize and fix up minor thing on RAW Pictures. 4K it could be a nice option but not important than bigger LCD. It also should be detachable and wifi. The other important feature is to provide fixed 32 or 85 Gb. Hard RAM internal and use 2 CF card since they are more advanced. For your information I am nearly 60 years old and its around one decade that I am working with DSLR System in fact I am very happy. I start photography when I was 14 years old and it is my love my life.
Have nice time. Regards/ Soheil Faridi

  • Dear Guys don’t push canon for 4k.If you are after photography tools the best is to ask canon don’t add filming system on this camera unless you put an 35mm High end CMOS for making pro movies like ARRI. With cheap software any one can make 3D movies. But going for 8K todays its great deal of work. Check with NHK TV. in Japan.Another, think is to put tally under the name of Canon sign and let on when ever you shoot movies or if not put LED light on top of camera.
It must compete with Nikon D4s in terms of making movies.
    Best Regards
