Pentax 645Z will use Sony’s 100 MP Medium Format sensor?

Back in October this year, there was a price cut in the current Medium Format Pentax 645Z , which somewhere let us think that the next version of Pentax 645Z is under development. Until now, there is no big information on upcoming 645Z II camera but one thing that we greatly speculate that the upcoming Pentax 645Z camera could have 100 MP Sony sensor. In November this year, Sony introduced three medium format sensors: 100MP and 150MP. As we already told you, before Sony introduced its own medium format camera these sensors would be implemented primarily in Fuji GFX 100S and next version of Hasselblad X1D.

The current Pentax 645Z implements 51.4 MP medium format sensor that delivers the Pre-eminent quality of pictures and is often regarded as one of the best medium format cameras available in the current generation camera Market.

Though Pentax 645Z is medium format sensor camera but its weight is impressively heavy and this is the area where Pentax needs to improve, means lessen the weight without interrupting any specification.

Though there is no schedule set for Pentax 645Z II camera, but there is speculation that Pentax 645Z II to be introduced in Photokina 2018 (?).

The best thing would be happened for now is to hold your wait for some additional time because we do hope to see some master information about this Upcoming Pentax camera from the CP+ in February, 2018.
