Panasonic LX200 – Our expectation

As we know the predecessor of Panasonic LX200 namely Panasonic LX100 was launched on September, 2014.  Since the existing Panasonic LX100 has the capacity to record high quality video recording not only in Full-HD 1,920 x 1,080 60pixels but also supports 4K video recording. The current camera also offers clearer, detailed imaged with reduced noise at extended ISO 25600.

The one thing we should remember that Panasonic has already launched the flagship digital single lens mirrorless Panasonic GX8 on July, 2015 with advanced functions packed in a dust-proof designed body.

The Panasonic first time introduced Dual I.S. (Image Stabilizer) in GX8 to correct the vibration produced during photography. Since, it is the first camera of its LUMIX G series to offer such facility to the users.

So we expect the upcoming Panasonic LX200 will definitely come with much up-gradations compare to its predecessor Panasonic LX100 and also includes all the advanced features compare to Panasonic GX8 or further with upgraded core specifications.

We expect the upcoming Panasonic LX200 will have similar 20.3MP sensor which is just introduced in Panasonic GX8 since we can’t expect the much higher resolutions sensor comparison to GX8 because Panasonic is not the manufacturer of sensor but it purchases from the Sony.

It should also features Depth from Defocus technology (DFD), which favors the accuracy, reducing the focus timing with increased in high-speed AF to 0.14 seconds. It has 11 fps burst shooting with mechanical shutter and goes up to 40 fps with electronic shutter.

It is expected that the Panasonic GX8 will come with higher ISO sensitivity 51200 comparatively more than GX8. The LCD screen will be also upgraded to the current LCD display screen of recently announced GX8 camera.

However all these are our expectation and not a rumor.

The exact date of its launching is still unknown, but it is expected that it will be coming soon.
