Our expectation from Nikon D850

Nikon-D850-comingAs we know the predecessor of the upcoming digital SLR Nikon D850 namely Nikon D810 was announced on 26th June, 2014.

The specifications of the predecessor Nikon D810 which comes with 36.3MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor, EXPEED 4 Image Processor, it has no Optical Low Pass Filter, captures Full HD 1080p Video at 60/30/24 fps, it has the native ISO 12800, which can be extended to ISO 51200, continuous shooting speed of 5fps.

So if we look at the specifications of Nikon D810, than our expectations for the upcoming device has raised.

Since the period of more than one and half year is sufficient for the camera tech giant Nikon to introduce its upcoming Nikon D850 with more advanced feature compare to Nikon D810.

Since, Nikon D810 has already introduced the similar sensor of Sony A7R in it’s predecessor Nikon D810, so we can expect that the upcoming Nikon D850 will also sport the similar full-frame 42.4-megapixel Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor as used in Sony A7R II also it will feature the EXPEED 5 image processor coupled with its 42.4-megapixel Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor to provide an impressive image quality and it will also improve fast overall performance.

It is expected that the upcoming Nikon D850 supports 4K UHD video recording at 30, 25, and 24 fps frame rates and Full HD/HD recording at up to 60 fps, similar to the recently announced Nikon D500/D5.

Nikon may introduce the same AF module Multi-CAM 20K AF used inside the recently announced Nikon D500 and Nikon D5, which will offer 153 total phase-detection points, including 99 cross-type sensors , which will result in the improvement of recognition of subject during photography and also the other 55 of the points will be used for better color composition.

It will come with the continuous shooting speed up to 5 fps similar to Nikon D810 camera despite of increase in resolution; hence it will perform well with better result and more details during capturing fast action objects compare to its predecessor.

Hence these are our expectations for the upcoming Nikon D850 and our assumptions are totally based on the caliber of Nikon , which it can prove it to be in reality and also it has already implement such features almost on its other models so we hope so .

According to the latest rumor, it is expected that the upcoming Nikon D850 will be announced on May-June, 2016.

Recently, we received information via anonymous body that Nikon D850 will feature 54MP Sony sensor. But we can’t believe it until we get further confirmation from Nikon or its reliable sources.
