Sensor Sizes- Our expectations must be with Fujifilm X-Pro2 when we discuss about the image quality. Obviously, you can see that X-pro2 employs 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor whereas, PEN F camera of Olympus uses 20.3MP Live MOS Sensor plus the sensor size of X-Pro2 APS-C (23.6 x 15.6 mm) is bigger than the size of PEN F’s Four Thirds (17.3 x 13 mm). So we will not be wrong if we buy X-pro2 camera for exceptional image quality.

Image stabilization- Camera shakes are unavoidable part of photography that sometimes spoils the elegant quality of the images. So providing the best consistency while photography, Olympus engineered 5-axis image stabilization mechanism in PEN F camera, which is so effective to help you out of any camera shake problem. On the other hand no image stabilization has been incorporated in X-pro2 camera.

AF system- AF system of X-PRO2 is consisted of 273 AF points that uses both phase- as well as contrast-detection methods. Approximately 40% of the imaging area is now covered by phase detection AF pixels for fast and precise focusing result of any moving subjects. The X-pro2 camera features X-processor, when it combines with Contrast detection AF then the camera’s capability to readout the subjects will be increased by double. On the other hand, the PEN F has only 81 contrast based AF points.

ISO- High ISO sensitivity performance upto the maximum ISO 12,800 in X-pro2 makes the photographer more confident in the difficult situations of lowlight shooting. However, the ISO range can be expanded to 51200. But the ISO range is limited to only 25600 in PEN F camera.

Shutter speed- X-pro2 has faster mechanical shutter speed of maximum 1/32000 sec means the photographers can get extra flexibility in aperture selections in bright conditions. Maximum shutter speed of X-pro2 also allow the photographers to use this camera in best way to capture the moments of a football or rugby match and wildlife photography can also be effectively done with this X-Pro2 Camera. But you have only 1/16000 sec of shutter speed in PEN F camera.

Continuous shooting speed- By having the 20MP of resolution you will get 10fps with Olympus PEN F whereas, by having 24 MP of resolution you will get 8fps of Continuous shooting speed with X-pro2.

Viewfinder- X-Pro2 boasts a Hybrid Viewfinder (optical and electronic viewfinders) capable of instantly switching between optical and electronic finders, Optical for a direct view of the subject, electronic to preview settings. On the other hand, the PEN F camera is limited to electronic viewfinders.

Battery life- The Fujifilm X-pro2 will allow you to capture 350 different shots of the desired subjects whereas PEN F camera will allow you going for only 330 shots.
