Olympus E-M10 Mark II


As we know Olympus E-M10 Micro Four Thirds camera was announced last year and now the company announced its successor Olympus E-M10 Mark II.

Since Olympus is known for the production of high-end cameras but from the last few years it showed interest in manufacturing affordable mirrorelss cameras with advanced technology and also added one more member in its low-end OM-D series of its cameras.

It’s new camera includes the up gradation of 5-axis image stabilization system and also offers the latest 2.36 million dot OLED EVF and a 4K time lapse mode.

It supports the usual features including 16.1MP Live Mos sensor and TruePic VII, of its predecessor. It offers the recording at 1080/60p and also it come with the maximum brust rate of 8.5 fps , which is minor difference comparative to the predecessor E-M10’s 8fps.

The E-M10 Mark II has better electronic viewfinder than its predecessor E-M10, with a resolution of 2.36 million dots.

It can burst shoot RAW or JPEG images up to 8.5 times per second in low shutter mode. The users can capture 1080p video at 30 or 24 frames per second.

Since the users have to satisfy on 1080p Full HD Video as there is an absence of 4K video.

The rest of the specifications are comparatively similar to its predecessor E-M10.

The users can get the Olympus E-M10 Mark II (only body) at the cost of $699 through pre-order via B&H Photo, Amazon, Adorama and its shipping will be started from early September, 2015.

Verdicts- Except image stabilization and shutter speed we are unable to find any special features in Olympus M10 II so in such kind of cases we think Sony A6000 is best camera to recommend.

Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-G7-fronPanasonic Lumix DMC-G7

Verdicts-  The new Olympus mark II is looking more innovative as comparison to G7  the Mark II has some fabulous specifications including the much needed 5 axis IS and we think 4K video option is only thing that G7 could attract the people but we think people will choose Olympus MaRk II.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8

Verdicts- Panasonic GX8 offers new sensor, 5 axis in body IS and a option to record 4K videos… but it will cost you bit high compared to the E-M10 II camera, we highly recommend you to buy Olympus E-M10 II camera.
