Yes the Nikon is good but the Samsung is as good ! Samsung goes to a large 20mm extra-wide angle but the Nikon only goes to wide angle of 24mm. And that counts for better.
Samsung has tap&go feature , just tap it with your smart phone and you’re connected to the Samsung camera . Hi-tech lovers will be better serve then with the Nikon.
Samsung got a bigger battery and says it can be good for up to 600 shots. Nikon only 330.
Samsung has a side grip , better holding, better confort, and command buttons doubled .
I donno why you say that Nikon has a better & bigger LCD , THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE and spec. only the Nikon is tiltable . (thus you have a viewfinder and can live without).
Nikon looks like a toy , especially in red. Samsung does have a very professional look, and a much more impact to the eyes. Seems to worth thousands instead of hundreds.
Closeup on Nikon says it is 1cm, but reading the right specs on Samsung. is 0.5cm !!!
Cmos on Samsung is 16.4m pixels while Nikon has 16.1. Thats about the same.
ISO on Nikon says up to 12800. Samsung goes to 6400, but goes to 80 instead of 100 for Nikon. And between us , the higher the ISO , the higher is the noise !! So what the hell 12800 compare to 6400 !! It is only one stop , and Samsung gets it back with his faster lens of 2.8 . That a great point for Samsung , faster lens is always welcome.
So in fact , if you alway shoot video , the Nikon is OK, but if you shoot lots of still picture and want a faster lens with a wider wide angle , and lot longer battery time , go go go for Samsung. This is the only solution for you.
