Megapixel- By the way, DL 18-50 has 21 mp resolution, which is more in compared to Sony RX100 iv, but a bit more number of pixels can’t bring any huge difference in the quality of the images because sensor size of both cameras are same. So users can pick any of these two camera for better image quality.

Optical zoom- Now from the table we can see that optical zoom of both the two cameras are almost same but yet 2.9x of RX100 iv, even in low-light the users can capture a wide variety of subjects with rich details and natural bokeh from both the camera.

AF system: As we have said already the Nikon J5 is using Hybrid AF sensor that supports 175 AF points and gives you blazing fast AF speed compared to RX100 M IV camera based on contrast detect system.

Nikon does have upper hand in the filed of AF system and since the sensor is coming from Nikon 1 series mirrorless camera we have no doubt about its AF performance.

Shutter speed- No matter, whatever the speed the target subjects are moving on, your RX100 iv will never fail to grasp the actions of the subjects but  DL 18-50 (30sec 1/16000 sec) is looking a bit feeble in comparison with RX100 iv.

Continuous shooting speed– With 20 frames-per-second of continuous shooting with AF and 60 frames per second without AF that makes the DL 18-50 much capable in capturing the fast action moments whereas RX100 iv has only 16fps.

Hot shoe- Hot shoe is available in DL18-50 model that allows for complete system expandability with the DF-E1 optional electronic viewfinder, whereas RX100 IV doesn’t have hot shoe.

Battery Life– Atleast ten more photos you can get by using DL 18-50 in comparison to RX100.

Display- A tilting Touch OLED display integrated in DL 18-50 that allows the users to effortless shoot from any angle while its competitor has 3.0″ LCD Rear Screen.

Verdicts- Based on the specification comparison review we recommend you to get the Sony RX100 M IV camera since ,it features advance sensor and excellent core specification.
