Sensor: The Fujifilm X100T features a large 16.3MP APS-C CMOS image sensor which delivers high resolution images with rich detail. While the Leica D-Lux (typ 109) features a 12.8MP 4/3″ MOS sensor which works to give high quality images in the output. When these two compared together, the Fujifilm X100T seems to be better.

Low-pass filter: The sensor Fujifilm X100T is designed in such a way that it eliminates the use of low pass filter which results in the form of more sharp and clear images, whereas the Leica D-Lux incorporates an optical low-pass filter which slightly reduces the image quality after processing. Therefore x100T is will deliver better quality images.

Optical zoom: The Leica D-Lux features 3.1X optical zoom which allows the user to take clear images of distant subjects without taking their body closer to the subject. However theĀ Fujifilm X100T does not features optical zoom as it comes with a fixed lens.

Aperture range: With a better and more flexible aperture range of f1.7-f2.8 Leica D-Lux makes the user capable of adjusting the amount of light which is being used while creating the image. While working at varying lightning conditions flexible aperture range proves really beneficial. On the other hand the aperture range of Fujifilm X100T is fixed to f2.0. Therefore Lecia d-Lux is more useful while working at different lightning conditions and it results in better quality of images.

Macro: The macro range of Lecia D-Lux is 3cm which ensures to deliver high quality, real life like images of the closer subjects. The small macro range makes sure that the image received is of great detail and has a rich color depth. Whereas the X100T features the macro range of 10cm which results in low quality macro images when compared to D-Lux.

Auto focus: When we talk about the AF system, the Fujifilm X100T offers a hybrid Contrast detect + phase detect autofocus system with a total of 49 AF points. The contrast detect AF system fine tunes the focused area while the phase detect method acquires quick focus over the subject, these two when combined result in excellent focusing experience. On the other hand Leica d-Lux offers a total of 49 AF points but it supports only the contrast detect method. Therefore with an advanced hybrid AF system the Fujifilm X100T will acquire Fast and better focus.

ISO: With an ISO sensitivity of 100-51200 the Fujifilm X100T will take better shots even in the low lightning situations. Whereas the ISO sensitivity of Leica d-Lux is limited to 100-25600. With the better ISO sensitivity X100T is more preferable over D-lux.

Shutter speed: The shutter speed of X100T is 60 sec 1/16000 sec while that of D-LUX is 30 sec 1/32000 sec. with a better shutter speed LX100 is capable to capture sharp and clear shots of even the fastest objects.

Top shooting speed: The D-Lux can take up to 11 continuous shots in a second while X100T can take 6 continuous shots in a second. For taking more shots in less time Leica D-lux is preferred more.

Video: D-Lux is capable of recording 4K 3840 x2160 videos @30fps and full HD 1080p videos @60fps in MP4 formats. While the X100T is capable of capturing 1080p videos @60fps other frame rates is also available. But the X100T is not capable to record UHD videos, so D-Lux is a better option.

Display: The Fujifilm X100T offers a 3.0″ 1.04m-Dot LCD Monitor whereas the Leica D-Lux offers a 3.0″ 920K Pixel LCD Display for live time monitoring or image and video playback. With a higher megapixel resolution the display of X100T is considered better.

WI-FI: Leica D-Lux comes with WI-FI and NFC which makes it capable to connect to any iOS or Android device for wireless image sharing as well as to make the linked devices capable of controlling the camera remotely. NFC allows it to connect to any device by just tapping both of them. On the other hand Fujifilm X100T comes only with WI-FI connectivity, no NFC is provided.

Battery: Fujifilm X100T can takes 330 shots in one battery cycle whereas D-Lux can take 300 shots in one cycle.

Dimension: Leica D-Lux is smaller than X100T.

Wight: Leica D-Lux weighs less than X100T.

Verdict: The Fuji X100T features advance sensor that features built-in phase AF points, no optical low pass filter and advance Hybrid viewfinder, on the other hand the LX100 features 4K recording options and more optical zoom zoom, so if you are a videographer we recommend you to go with LX100… if you are a still shooter we recommend you to buy X100T.
