Sensor- It is doubtless that photographers must give maximum marks to the images produced by Hasselblad X1D camera because the camera features a huge Medium format sensor (44 x 33mm), which let the photographers to acquire the signature quality of images. However, both Hasselblad as well as Canon employs more than 50mp resolution, but Canon incorporates full frame sensor that may not be so effective to deliver images that can be contrasted with Hasselblad’s quality.
AF system- Canon 5dsr’s AF system is just inventive, using a 61-Point High Density Reticular AF array including up to 41 cross-type AF points and EOS iTR AF for high precision autofocus. Also, this DSLR camera of Canon uses Hybrid AF system (Contrast + Phase) to focus the action of the target subjects instantly and accurately. On the other hand, the AF system of Hasselblad X1D offers only contrast detect sensor in their hybrid AF points, that could not be so handy for instant focusing over the subjects, but users will not miss the accuracy.
ISO- X1D is for those who also want worry-free shooting in dimlight conditions, because the X1D offers an expandable ISO range upto 25600 and not only this, the base ISO of Hasselblad is great for lowlight shooting, which allows the photographers to achieve stunning images even in lowlight conditions. But, unluckily, the expandable ISO range of 5DSR is not so loud, the photographers can extend it only upto 12800.
Shutter speed– Whether running wild dear or a fast scramming player with his soccer can be easily captured with Canon 5DSR without blur, because the camera uses faster shutter speed of 1/8000 sec. On the other hand, Hasselblad is not so good on freezing the faster moving subjects, because you can see that it has very slower shutter speed of only 1/2000 sec.
Display- 5dsr integrates 3.2″ ClearView II LCD monitor that has 1,040,000 dots and also incorporates anti-reflective construction and features Canon’s ClearView for various kind of shooting situations.
Shots- You can go for around 700 shots with Canon 5DSR camera whereas, Hasselblad doesn’t disclose the numbers of shots can be taken.
Verdict- We will strongly suggest Hasselblad X1D whose primary preference is image quality the reason is discussed above and if you want an all- rounder full frame camera then put your cash on 5DSR.
