Sensor- Though X70 maintains low resolution (16mp) than G7 X II (21mp) but sensor size of X70 is twice the larger than G7 X II. X70(APS-C sized X-Trans CMOS sensor) whereas G7 X II (1.0-inch CMOS sensor) that promises us edge to edge sharpness in the images. As well as the X-Trans CMOS II sensor integrated in X70 provides great control over moiré and false colors with the X-Trans color filter and at the same moment you also get broad dynamic range and cleaner images in a lowlight environment.

Optical Zoom- G7 X II provides 4.2x optical zoom to help achieve high image quality and high magnification even in lowlight conditions throughout the frame. On the other hand no optical zoom facility is provided by X70.

Image stabilization– The users of G7 X II can get beautiful background blur because the camera utilizes the optical image stabilization technology that helps in camera shake problem as well as provide great optical performance. But no image stabilization technology has been engineered in X70.

Shutter speed- You can take X70 for sports and wildlife shooting because the camera has impressive shutter speed of 1/32000 sec Capture any action of the subjects, no matter how faster their actions are. But upto now, the maximum shutter speed of the G7 X II camera is unknown.

AF system- AF system is one prime specification of the camera and X70 uses just brilliant AF system compared to G7 X II. The AF system of X70 offers the standard 49-point Single Point mode for high speed and accurate focusing of the desire subjects, as well as the new Zone and Wide/Tracking modes that use a larger 77-point area to seamless capture faster moving subjects. Moreover, the camera also features Eye Detection AF, which automatically detects and focuses on human eyes. This function later allows you to easily focus on the eyes even in difficult conditions of shooting. But if you look at the AF system of Canon G7X II you could see that the camera doesn’t have the sound AF system comparison to X70, which has only contrast based AF system with only 31 AF points.

ISO range- An expandable ISO range of 51200 is maintained by X70 that nicely reduces the noise when shooting at lowlight situations. On the other hand, Users can expand the ISO range by only 25600 using G7X II.

Shots- X70 offers you to take 330 shots at a time whereas only 265 shots can be taken by G7 X II.

Verdict- Fujifilm X70 would be our suggestion to buy, Because we have seen the camera has brilliant AF system and also best for the photographers who don’t like any compromise in the image quality.
