 Fujifilm X-A10 vs Canon EOS M10

Image quality–   You can see that Canon EOS M10 employs the 18MP resolution, but due to somewhere a bit smaller sensor size than its competitor (X-A10) the camera will produce almost similar quality of images. On the other side, Fuji X-A10 carries lower resolution (16 mp), but getting the advantage of bigger sensor sizes lets the camera to deliver high quality of images, flawlessly.

AF system- The AF system of the boasted in the core Canon M10 model is Hybrid, which means it uses both contrast as well phase detect sensor helps the camera to nail down fast moving subjects instantly and accurately. On the other side, X-A10 works with contrast detect only—and both the two cameras have 49 AF points.

Shutter speed– Faster shutter speed of X-A10 (1/32000 sec) helps the users to seize the rapid moving subjects, effortlessly. Moreover, the faster shutter speed also lets you to use large aperture to achieve shallow depth of field, even while shooting under bright conditions without over-exposing the image. Unfortunately, the shutter speed of Canon M10 is 1/4000 sec only.

Shooting speed– Fuji X-A10 is a solid camera to shoot the action oriented shots since the camera offers 6fps of continuous shooting, whereas Canon M10 offers 4.6fps only.

Battery Life– Fuji X-A10 allows you to capture 410 shots at a time, whereas Canon M10 allows you to get 255 shots only.

Price Factor– Around $50 more you have to spare on X-A10 to buy it over Canon M10.

Verdict- As we have already told you that there is only little difference in the specifications, but difference is in their price. Canon M10 offers better AF system and cost you lesser than X-A10, whereas X-A10 offers you faster shutter speed and continuous drive. Now final decision is yours.
