More than a year to go for the next Photokina that is to be held in 2018 (25th-30th Sep). One of the biggest photography events around the world where numbers of Flagships cameras get announced alongwith new lenses and other accessories. Now let’s talk about what are the Flagships camera we would be lucky to see in the next Photokina event. However, we don’t know what exactly in your mind is but we must tell you what we speculate and the most chances of getting announced next. Last year, prior to Photokina Canon announced the most anticipated Canon 5D Mark IV.
Well, we greatly speculate to see the arrival of Canon 1DX Mark III and Nikon D6 – Perhaps these two will be the big announcements for 2018. However, on the other hand, currently nobody talks about these two cameras because there is not even an ounce of rumor circulates on the web regarding these two, but we did our best to calculate the expected specifications of these two cameras will wear these specification. Have a look below:
Flagships on Next Photokina 2018
1. Canon 1DX Mark III
On the planet, in present time, Canon 1DX Mark II has still been one of the best DSLRs for Sports that laced with totally extraordinary specifications. Hardly, it has any competitor around.
and here are the specification that we anticipate Canon 1DX Mark III should come with:
- 24 MP (DPAF) Next Generation sensor for unprecedented quality of images.
- 20-24fps (global shutter) (if comes than will game changer camera in the sports photography)
- 4K @60fps (Canon log support)
These are the specifications up to now we deeply anticipated about, but if we get any sound that mismatches our listed specs we will modify it soon.
2. Nikon D6
The first and basic question the crazy photographer may ask if Nikon keeps their ISO range remained same as of current Nikon D5 (ISO 3280000) or we may see any jump in those range. Unfortunately, we don’t have exact answer for this question, though the question is very fair. But there are some solid expected specifications we hope Nikon would feature in their next Flagship called Nikon D6.
- 24-28MP sensor (Hybrid sensor?)
If Nikon D6 comes with Hybrid sensor, then this flagship Nikon would probably be the first Nikon Full-Frame DSLR to offer you maximum numbers of distinctive AF points like never before in any other Nikon camera.
- 4K @60fps
Based on our expectations we made this article and must tell you if you have any thing inside your mind do share with us.
