Financial Results for the First Quarter of Olympus – 2015

E-M5MarkIIOlympus has brought its financial results for the first quarter of the company’s fiscal year into light and they actually have given the sense of priorities to its Imaging Systems Business for a 12.3% that is consistently increased.

The most important thing is needed to be noted that it’s OM-D and Pen series cameras increases the profit upto 25% of its business, the imaging business has jumped in its good flight and earned profit of $8.8 million whereas they tested the scathing loss $15.2 million previous year. Due to the commercial success of OM-D E-M5 II and its ‘Pro’ M.Zuiko lenses, that helped Olympus to get to its profits.

Compact sales are still in miserable conditions and facing constantly loss and its volume down by 11% but the company decided to focus more on expensive ‘high-value-added’ models.
