EF-M 9-18MM F/4-5.6 lens Patent for Canon APS-C Mirrorless cameras

Canon recently filed a patent for Mirrorless Ultra wide angle CANON EF-M 9-18MM F/4-5.6 for APS-C EOS M cameras, which is also  supposed to be the replacement for current EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens. Though the patent has been filed, but the only complain is that the lens is not wide enough. However, we are expecting the lens would have same range of specifications as of the excellent 11-22mm lens.

From the latest information, it was clearly indicated that the lens doesn’t have Image Stabilization, which could be a big drawback of the lens.
