EF 135mm F2L lens will be replaced after twenty years

“A lens that will replace the twenty years old EF 135mm f/2L lens is in under development. And probably the rumored lens may be announced in 2016”- According to the Canonrumors

The lens may have f/1.8 aperture , however, the Image stabilization may not be implemented into the design of this lens. And we do expect that this replacement lens will have some modern and improved features.
