Canon has been trying its best to work with multi-layer sensor, and it seems they’ve got success now. An upcoming professional level full frame DSLR will feature the new canon multi-layer sensor. As per the reports, in the coming year 2015 there will be two such cameras announced, out of which one would be a replacement for the EOS-1D X with another professional body and a high megapixel resolution. However no information was mentioned of an EOS 5D Mark IV.
The high resolution camera with the new multi-layer sensor is expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2015. We’ve heard rumors from unknown sources that such a camera may appear at PhotoPlus at the end of this month.
