Canon once again announced a new firmware update version 1.1.3 for Canon 1DX Mark II that adds the following improvements.
This new firmware will correctly display the drive mode icon when using custom shooting modes (C1/C2/C3) Changes the maximum number of “Release cycles” displayed from 1,000,000 cycles to 9,999,000 cycles. This value can be checked under the “Camera system information” menu. Improves

Leica announced firmware update for Leica SL camera, but the firmware update looks secondary news because the Leica’s recent blockbuster is the announcement of their 50mm f/1.4 lens ASPH lens along with the firmware version 2.2. The newly announced lens is currently in the highlight due to its peak price, which means highly expensive lens has been announced at the list price US$5,300.

The last Firmware version 1.02, which Canon released for 5D Mark IV was to improve communication reliability when using EOS Utility to register/update new Digital Lens Optimizer. Once again, just after two months Canon released another Firmware Version 1.0.3 “Improves the reliability of communication when using the EF1.4X III or EF2X III extender”, plus also corrects the other bugs in the remarkable Canon 5D Mark IV camera.
