Canon’s new firmware to add C-Log to Canon 5D Mark IV – Rumor

Canon 5D Mark IV

In the early of this month once a rumor created a sound that Canon would announce Firmware update for Canon 5D Mark IV, but what features to be implemented was unclear. Now that rumor got a clean side that hints that this new upcoming firmware might implement C-Log supports to maximize the sharpness and clarity in the video and most probably it could be announced at NAB, April 2017.

We would perhaps like to tell this is a rumor that still requires some confirmation.

So far, Canon have already announced one firmware update, Firmware Version 1.0.3 for Canon 5D Mark IV which “Improves the reliability of communication when using the EF1.4X III or EF2X III extender”, and corrects the other bugs as well.
