Canon 5D Mark IV will feature 30 MP sensor? No CFast memory card slot


When the first rumor hit the web about Canon 5D mark IV, which suggested that the camera might feature 18 Mp sensor, then 24 Mp and 28Mp successively in different rumors and a couple of weeks ago a retailer disclosed that the camera would feature 30MP sensor. However, the information of retailer now seems to be true, because recently the Canon rumors published that the 5D Mark IV possibly feature 30MP sensor. On the other side, the camera may not come with CFast memory card slot, only Compact Flash/SD Card Slots.

Look at the recent specs that are rumored to feature in 5D Mark IV…

  • 30MP full frame sensor
  • Compact Flash/SD Card Slots (No CFast)
  • 24/30fps @ 4K
  • 60fps @ 1080
  • 120fps @ 720
  • USB 3.0
  • Cable release port moved to the front of the camera where the “Mark XX” badge was.
  • A lot more touchscreen functionality than the EOS-1D X Mark II
  • Other ergonomic changes, such as a new “locking switch” on the rear of the camera.

So far, it is assumed that the upcoming 5D Mark IV will look like its sibling 5D Mark III.
