Canon new Full Frame mirrorless camera will have dedicated CMOS sensor

There was a chatting over the web that the upcoming Canon Full-Frame mirrorless camera could hire sensor from either Canon 5D Mark IV or Canon 6D Mark II. But now, based on the latest rumor, it is nearly confirmed that the new mirrorless camera that is under development will use a dedicated CMOS sensor and won’t use neither Mark IV nor 6D Mark II’s image sensors!

However, the information was just regarding the image sensors, but we greatly expect to get some more information shortly. By the way, it is told that the unnamed Canon Mirrorless camera is expected to be announced in Q3 of 2018.

Interestingly, before Canon’s mirrorless announcement we could see a new Nikon FF mirrorless camera announcement in the first half of 2018.
