The sensors sizes as well as resolutions are same. However, there is a little difference in the optical zoom measure (G9x-3X and RX100 III), but it will not bring any huge difference. The same ISO, AF system, shutter speed etc.
Aperture range-Well, the RX100 III covers the 24 -70mm focal length with a wide F1.8 – F2.8 aperture, ensuring that portrait subjects can be captured with beautiful background defocus whereas the G9X aperture range is limited to F2.0 – F4.9
Continuous shooting speed- Employing the solid 10fps of continuous shooting speed, the RX100 III, will be the camera that can track the fast moving objects( may be running wildly) can easily be captured, even each of the actions of them. The G9x managed to get only 6fps.
Display- On the back side of G9X, an intuitive 3” LCD touch panel with a new user interface is incorporated, with the help of which the photographers can easily changes the camera settings even during shooting.

Compared to RX100-3, the G9X has no tilting display, is cheaper and much smaller.
