Aperture range- When the aperture range of Sony RX100 IV is more assures that maximum light will fall onto the sensor that enables the photographers to use the faster shutter speed to capture the fast moving subjects effortlessly.

Shots- The maximum number of shots is possible by Sony Rx100 IV (280 shots), on the other hand only 220 shots are possible with Canon G9x.

Verdicts- Autofocus system and ISO the two crucial specifications of the cameras are same. So, as per the comparison we would like to go with Sony RX100 IV, since the camera has faster shutter speed continuous speed etc.
