Sensor and resolution packed inside the core of both cameras (G7 X and G9X) are same, so this result brings the same standard of images (blended with sharpness and clarity), even the duos have the low pass filter. Image stabilization incorporated into both the camera is optical, so users of the both the cameras have not to take the risk of the blurry images, which occurred due to the unwanted camera shake problems. Tracking of the subjects without losing the accuracy is also possible with this pair of cameras because two are using the same contrast detect sensors.
Optical zoom- So difference is in the optical zoom capability means the users of the Canon G7 X will be a bit more capable to get the closer shot of desire subjects in compared to G9 X(3x).
Continuous shooting speed- Not a major difference but the continuous shooting speed of the G7 X is a little more than that of the G9Xthat makes it capable of capturing each action of the subjects much quickly even the faster moving subjects.
Video- The users of both cameras can enjoy recording Full HD video of 1080p (at 24p, 30p, and 60p in MP4 format)
Verdicts- If you want to spare your cash between these two then G7x will be a better camera since the camera offers you a few good specifications like more optical zoom with bright lens, shooting speed is also bit more compared to other. We recommend you to get Canon G7X camera.
Data is wrong! In manual mode, the G7X can go up to 250 seconds! See page 94 of the manual. It’s the shutter modemthat’s limited to 15 seconds.
Please fix your data table!
