ISO range
Lowlight shooting will be comfortably done with Canon 80D since the camera allows you to acquire noise free images ( expandable ISO of 51200), whereas Canon G1X Mark III offers you expandable ISO range of 25600 only.
Shutter speed
But the best difference or you can say a significant advantage of Canon 80D is that it avails the faster shutter of 1/8000 sec. Faster shutter speed in a camera ultimately blocks the way of distortion, plus also incredibly minimizes the “rolling shutter” effect while shooting fast moving subjects. Furthermore, this fast shutter speed also allows the camera to capture sharp, crystal clear images with a wide open aperture while shooting at bright light conditions. On the other hand, Canon G1X Mark III is restricted to 1/2000 sec only.
Shots
Maximum shots can be taken with Canon 80D. On the other hand, you can take only 200 shots only.
