Canon 80D could feature 24 –28 Mp APS-C sensor, why?

We are in sceptical, what the real purpose that pulled Canon to implement 24 –28 Mp APS-C sensor? Yes! We have a rumor that the successor of Canon 70D that is Canon 80D could have this new 28MP to 34MP APS-C image sensor.

Why Canon is in a state to leave its 20.2mp APS-C CMOS sensor which they have employed in 70D. However, it’s just a rumor but if Canon is really going to do this then they should have to be well prepared to encounter with its sturdy competitors in the market like Samsung NX1.

The award winning Samsung NX1 already has 28MP APS-C BSI CMOS Sensor for superior image quality, Featuring best in class 15FPS continuous AF shooting, a unique Auto Focus (AF) System III with 205 Phase Detection AF points. Though, competition is not over, Sony- the imaging world leader has kept the update work of Sony A6000 in pending but we constantly hearing that Sony is much dedicated in developing the successor of the Sony A6000 and we could lucky to hear the announcement of this  staggering camera very soon.

In the end, this is a rumor only and Canon has still been kept the things confidential, so better to stay tuned to get the true information about this Canon 80D which is believed to be announced in late 2015 or early 2016.
