Canon 800D coming on Q1 of 2017

canon-800dCanon 800D is surely coming at first half of 2017, but one question that strongly strikes our mind “will Canon once again split the version of 800D (800D/ 810D) as they did in case of Canon 750D (Canon 750D/760D)? Actually, Canon made 750D-a mid-range DSLR, whereas Canon 760D announced with pro-level controls and display(on top), plus there is difference of around $100 in their price. Well, price is not the topic—let’s jump into the actual point…

Actually, Canon 800D has been in the rumor table for long time and photographers already started asking question about its arrival, however, the rumors say different things, but we expect the announcement of Canon 800D/T7i sometime between Feb/March2017. Canon 800D may hire the AF system from its own family member Canon 80D (45-Point All Cross-Type AF System), but again Canon won’t do this and if they do then the selling rate of 80D will be slowed down. Instead of using Canon 80D’s AF system, Canon must use Canon 70D AF system, which is dual pixel CMOS sensor (19-Point All Cross-Type Phase-Detect AF). One thing Canon would probably bring in Canon 800D is that unlike the Hybrid CMOS AF III in Canon 750D/760D—the Canon 800D may have Hybrid CMOS AF IV.
