When we turned the pages back on the web, we see Canon 7D Mark III is inevitably one of the most anticipated cameras is due for an announcement. An update to more than three years old camera (Canon 7D Mark II announced back in Sep, 2014) in which gallons of rumors have been tossed up but eventually all got squandered. Canon skipped back to back two years: 2016 and 2017. Most of us were anxious for announcement in March 2018, but the recent rumor pumped up the information and said: “Probably Canon 7D Mark III is not in the Roadmap for CP+!”. The rumor seems much oily to digest, but as of now we have to believe it. You should know that CP+ show to be held in March, 2018.
Canon 7D Mark II sensor is outdated!
Canon 7D Mark III was supposed to be announced in March this year means prior to CP+ show, but rumor mills have no strong information on the announcement date of the camera yet.
Canon 80D was announced back in 2016, which is two years older than Canon 7D Mark ii, but look at the brilliance of the camera it goes past 7D Mark II in sensor score (DXO test) . Now more than three years and we can loudly say that the sensor of the 7D Mark II is totally outdated, which needs a desperate update.
In the end, we strongly speculate if March for Canon doesn’t look a sweet time for this Flagship’s announcement then it may be at some other even since, Photokina – a big photography even is also to be held in September. So chances are not less.
