Now a latest rumor surfaced on the web via CR that the upcoming Canon 6D Mark II will share the same platform along with Canon super telephoto zoom non-L lens EF 200-600mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM lens. For your information Canon has already filed a lens patent for the same lens in December, 2015. So we expect it will be announced at the same event. The lens will have no weather-sealed body but will come with advanced optics and build quality. The cost of the lens will be $1,700.
According to the latest rumor the Canon 6D Mark II will come with 25MP sensor, dual SD card slots and shoot some form of 4K. It is expected that the AF system of 6D Mark II will have Dual pixel CMOS sensor. The size and weight will be comparatively smaller and lighter than its predecessor Canon 6D respectively.
