Canon 6D Mark II and 6Ds Mark II coming?

Earlier we had the rumored information that Canon was thinking of different sensor resolutions 24MP and 28MP for the Canon EOS 6D Mark II.

Now we have the latest information based on rumors that Canon is in the path of testing both the sensors.

Such type of information is totally confused us because the previous rumors tells that the EOS 6D Mark II will be announced by Q1 2016 and this is too late to do a testing process for such camera which is eager to show its presence in the first quarter of 2016 .

The upcoming camera is also followed by another rumor that it will go upmarket but after thinking for some time we come to the conclusion that the company means that it will sport the camera with the latest technology.

There is lots of expectation that EOS 6D Mark II will be the Canon’s next entry-level, full-frame DSLR and according to the previous rumor it will be the upgradation of its predecessor EOS 6D and the EOS 6D Mark II will be smaller in size and have lighter weight.

It will not come with the same sensor as used in Canon FF DSLR like the EOS 6D.

It will have sensor of 28MP, Top continuous shooting speed of 6 fps, ISO 100 – 102400 (expandable to 204800), new AF system (but not the same as on 5DS) ,   98% viewfinder coverage , Single SD card slot , another connectivity like WiFi, NFC, and GPS.

Just Like Canon T6 and T6S ?

So after comparing the previous rumored specification which implies that it will sport a sensor of 28MP and the current rumored information mentions that Canon is on the verge of testing both sensors of 24MP and 28MP, this support the contradiction that there may be a chance that Canon is thinking of two models of the EOS 6D Mark II with different sensors may be named as 6D Mark II and 6Ds Mark II

We can’t say more on this matter we only guess so don’t take it as confirmation it is totally based on rumor.
