Nikon-D5Nikon D5:-

Nikon D5 announced in January, 2016, and there are few magnificent features which is sufficient to make it at top order comparative to other DSLR’s.

As we know Nikon D5 is the first DSLR to offer 4K video recording. It has the best ISO range which includes a native ISO 102400, which can be extended to ISO 3280000. Such magnificent ISO is definitely liked by such users who work hard to capture the images in low light situations without any noise production. Such higher ISO makes it the leader of low-light image capturing camera among others.

It has also much advanced Multi-CAM 20K 153-Point AF System, including 99 cross-type sensors. Of these 153 points, 55 AF points/35 cross-type points are selectable by photographers to quickly and easily frame any shot.

Hence such advanced AF System helps the Camera to grab more AF area of the screen and identifies the real subject more quickly and also it is beneficial for tracking fast and randomly moving subjects and also the users can track the subject more effectively.

Canon-1dx-mark-IICanon 1DX Mark II:-

Canon 1DX Mark II announced on February, 2016 and it is the world’s first camera which sports Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor with 20.2MP resolution.

It also became the first Canon DSLR camera to record 4K videos and also the world’s first DSLR still full frame camera which come with Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor.

Since, it has outstanding features which makes it a strong rival to Nikon D5 and placed it at No.2 position. But there are few weaker sections which stops it to grab the top position are its lower ISO 100-51200 (expanded in 409600) comparative to Nikon D5 which has a native ISO 102400 and expanded ISO of 3280000 and hence the decrease in 3 stop in expanded ISO, which is a huge margin makes it to stand in back of Nikon D5.

Also we can’t ignore that Canon 1DX Mark II features dual-pixels CMOS AF sensor that enables blazing fast AF while shooting the videos or capturing still images by utilizing the display unit of the camera.

It features a new 61-point High Density Reticular AF II system with 41 cross-type points that expands the AF area. Due to the presence of its Dual Pixel CMOS AF, it is compatible with all Canon EF lenses. Focus points can be selected automatically and also it supports Canon 1DX Mark II to offer 4K video at 60fps.

But due to more AF points of Nikon D5 which is two times more dense than Canon 1DX Mark II , allows it to captures more AF area of the screen and locates the real subject more quickly and also it helps the users to track the fast moving subjects more conveniently and effectively compare to Canon 1DX Mark II.
