Nikon D5600 gives impressive results in DxoMark Lab

Nikon D5600

Probably, Nikon D5600 is the perfect choice for the entry-level shooters because it packs impressive specifications that all the users must appreciate it during the time they shoot in Different locations.

Nikon D5600 was officially announced on 24 November, 2016, but not in US. So finally, Nikon announced it in US in this very month of January at CES show on 5TH January. Now DXOMARK team tested it on their lab, and thankfully, Nikon D5600 performed really fine! However, out of 100, Nikon D5600 scored 84 (yeah! It’s standard marks), which is one point more than its own acquaintance Nikon D7100 and its elder sister Nikon D5300 as well.

Unfortunately, Nikon D3400 is still getting the upper hand by scoring 86 Marks in sensor results, but D5600 lowlight performance is improving its score, which is better than D3400 (but Nikon D5300 performs much better in lowlight than D5600)

DxoMark conclusions

Nikon’s strategy of offering similar sensor performance throughout the series of DX-format DSLRs continues with the D5600. In some ways, after seeing such good performance so often before, it’s easy to be blasé or apathetic. Given that the only weak point of the D5600 is that we’ve come to expect more from an update, it is perhaps somewhat unfair to criticize Nikon for releasing the D5000 (and D3000) models so frequently. Nevertheless, with 24-MP in DX format being extremely demanding on lens performance, it is unlikely that we’ll see an increase in pixel count until Nikon updates more lenses, or expands the range of AF-P lenses in the lineup. Needless to say, the Nikon D5600 is difficult to ignore and a solid choice at the price.
