We expect these two members of same family can able to shoot sharp and crystal-clear images since each one comes with same resolution, plus using the same sensor sizes and image processor. But the fine adjustment of AF points, ISO range, and shutter speed in Nikon D7200 create the real difference.

AF points– It is a big challenge for a photographer when the subject that he desires to shoot is moving rapidly and it is not lesser than a daunting task if the condition of shooting has no good source of light. Sometimes, we miss the accuracy or sometimes our camera fails to capture that target subject on the spur of the moment due to lack of proper AF speed. But the users of Nikon D7200 may not experience such problem since the camera offers Hybrid AF system. However, Nikon D5600 also integrates Hybrid AF system, but the high-density 51 focus points of Nikon D7200 cover a wide area of the frame in DX format, while its 15 cross-type sensors in the center provide higher detection strength. On the other hand, Nikon D5600 has lesser AF points that are 39 only.

ISO- Reaching to the almost clarity and getting low-noise images while shooting at lowlight area are also one big challenge for a photographer, but if the camera he is using offers better sensitivity range then he can get his work done effortlessly and unobtrusively. As I have already mentioned you in the beginning that Nikon D7200 is significantly better camera for shooting in lowlight areas that allows you to use the maximum ISO range upto 102400, which is too much. However, its competitor Nikon D5600 is not looking flawless, offering the expandable ISO range of only upto 25600.

Shutter speed– Crisp and blurless images take the attention of the clients or viewers instantly and one needs faster shutter speed to capture the fast moving subjects, for instance, a soccer player running to the goal post with the ball etc or want to take the still of faster running deer during the wildlife shooting. You can see in this comparison, Nikon D7200 offers the users faster shutter speed of 1/8000 sec, whereas Nikon D5600 offers only 1/4000 secs.

Continuous shooting speed– Once again, the Nikon D7200 is an outstanding choice for sports, wildlife and other fast action that offers 6 fps continuous shooting capacity. On the other hand, Nikon D5600 is staying back for offering continuous drives for 5fps only. Plus, when using live view, the maximum frame rate of Nikon D7200 will be approx. 3.7 fps.

Verdict- Obviously, Nikon D7200 will be the camera we must recommend you since the reasons we have found out above. The camera features 51 point AF system, faster shutter speed and fast burst rate. And the other  big advantage is the Nikon D7200 is weather sealed.
