Sony A6500 vs Fuji X-Pro2
AF system- With 425 focal plane phase-detection AF points— the Sony A6300 provides dense and wider AF point coverage plus the camera also focuses the subjects accurately and efficiently throughout the frame. Its high-density Tracking AF Technology significantly improves subject detection and tracking performance. Moreover, Sony A6300 utilizes a Fast Hybrid AF system called 4D focus system that integrates high-speed phase detection AF with accurate contrast AF, allowing the users to capture and lock on to moving subjects in as little as 0.05 seconds.
On the other hand, Fuji X-pro2 does also have hybrid AF system, but it has maximum 273 AF points comparatively lesser than Sony A6300.
Continuous shooting speed– For live-view continuous shooting with very little lag on the EVF or LCD screen this Sony A6500 offers 8fps (Hi) live-view continuous shooting. You can also clearly capture the fast moving subjects with high-speed continuous shooting at up to 11fps (Hi+) by Sony A6300. But, Fuji X-pro2 offers burst rates of 8fps.
Video- You can record only full HD video with Fuji X-pro2, whereas Sony A6500 offers the advantage of recording 4k video. Sony A6500 can shoot 4K (3840x2160p) video in Super 35mm format using full pixel readout without pixel binning on the full width of the image sensor. Plus, the Sony A6500 can also produce exceptionally high resolution in 4K images. On the other side, Fuji X-pro2 is limited to Full-HD video only.
Verdict- Sony A6300 is not giving any pass to Fuji X-Pro2 not in AF system, not in video section or anything else. So obviously, Sony A6300 will be excellent solution if you want any APS-C mirrorless camera with extraordinary specifications.
