Sony A99 II vs Nikon D5
Image quality– Sony A99 II is claimed to produce razor- sharp and crystal-clear images with its back-illuminated full-frame 42.4MP Exmor R CMOS sensor. On the other hand, Nikon D5 does also have full frame sensor, but it has very lesser resolution (21 MP) compared to Sony A99 II. Furthermore, Sony A99 II doesn’t have low pass filter, which clearly means that the users will be able to grab much details of the subjects, even in lowlight.
AF points– Sony has popular Hybrid Phase Detection AF system that is enabled by combining a 79-point dedicated phase detection AF sensor with 399 focal plane phase detection AF points and that result produces a 79 hybrid cross AF point, ensuring that the high-speed moving subjects across the frame will be captured precisely an accurately.
