Sony A9R directly means the expansion of current or recently announced Sony A9. Yes, you read right, but the problem is that if Sony is really going to give it a name tag of Sony A9R since rumors circulate around the web suggest that it could be A9S also (Name tag) that is going to feature very high resolution of around or more than 70 MP. On the other hand, its maximum features will be borrowed by its Capone Sony A9. But at the same time it looks like Sony A9 will be spitted in two version: First one that is Sony A9R could be announced this year whereas Sony A9S in next year.
Sony A7S III
