Sensor- You will be the winner if you have a bet on the image quality of Hasselblad X1D camera. As we can see from the table that Hasselblad features a large medium format sensor (44 x 33mm) and impressive 50 mp resolutions, which clarify that photographers can earn images of extremely high resolution, with rich tonality and a wide dynamic range. Even the professionals will also appreciate the sharpness and clarity of the images. On the other hand, Nikon D810 uses Full frame (36 x 24 mm) sensor and also employs 36.3 mp resolution that might not be so effective to deliver you the images like Hasselblad X1D produces.

AF system– Nikon D810 features 51 AF points with 15 cross-type sensors that will enhance the accuracy and it also utilizes 11 cross-type sensors that are fully functional when using compatible NIKKOR lenses and aperture value upto f/8. The D810 of Nikon also features the new Group AF mode for impressive accuracy, even while tracking subjects in any challenging conditions. However, Hasselblad doesn’t mention the exact AF points, but the camera uses contrast detect sensor that focuses the subjects with immense accuracy.

ISO- The base ISO of Hasselblad can be effective during lowlight shooting, but the users can extend its ISO range only upto 25600, whereas, the ISO range can be expanded upto 51200, while shooting with Nikon D810, that can also nicely improve low-noise image capture in any number of lighting conditions.

Shutter speed– Photographers with Nikon D810 can be able to freeze the actions of any fast moving subject or any faster running sports player even in the unfavorable lighting conditions, since the camera offers the faster shutter speed of 1/8000sec that might be sufficient to capture the motion of desire subjects. On the other hand, the camera the shutter speed of X1D is lower than that of the Nikon D810 that may not be so solid for speed actions photography.

Continuous shooting speed- The camera with more number of burst rates is great for capturing the desired subjects in motion and you can see that D810 offers 5fps of continuous drive function, which can be a good solution for capturing fast subjects’ action shot. But, Hasselblad offers only 2.3 fps.

Display- With the high resolution 3.2-inch LCD screen of Nikon D810 both photographers as well as videographers can earn benefits of shooting or composing a scene from any unique angle, which makes it simple to check focus and review images as well.

Battery- A photographers can take maximum shots of 1200 at a time with Nikon D810 and unluckily, X1D has not mentioned its Battery’s CIPA.

Verdict- We have mentioned everything clearly, but in a brief X1D is considerably a precise solution for overall imaging performance or in other words, the camera can also be used in many photographic conditions. And Nikon D810 is full frame camera and the image quality of which may not be comparable with X1D, but it can fulfill the exact demands of the professional photographers with its massive specifications like hybrid AF system, more number of ISO range etc.
