Sony A9 coming with unlimited RAW burst

sonyA9Recently, we published that Sony A7rIII coming with new sensor and improved IS. Also we mentioned the first rumored information by Sony Japan managers:-

“a7Riii the new sensor will be between 70 – 80 Megapixels. They are working on improved IBIS as well. Although officially the new lenses per the 24-70 F2.8 GM and the others have been tested for QC at 60+ Megapixels and 6K+ Video they achieve even better results than that.“

Now we have the latest rumor via a reliable source, as follows-

“The next generation flagship mirrorless camera from Sony will be a giant leap. It will drop a huge bomb in the imaging industry. It will not be A7III or A7RIII. It will be a new model above A7 series. I would say A9 (let’s name it as the new model). So the new A9 will have dual XQD card slot, no CFast version, only XQD. A9 can do UNLIMITED RAW burst, UNLIMITED. The camera wont pause for buffering.”

So after compare both the rumors one by Sony Japan managers and the latest rumor, we come to the conclusion that the coming model may not be named as Sony A7rIII, but it is expected that it will be the latest model above A7 series, it may Sony A9.

If we believe than the upcoming Sony A9 will come with dual XQD card slot, no CFast version, only XQD. It will have unlimited Raw burst and also the camera wont pause for buffering.

So, till date we can’t totally trust or ignore both the rumors. But we can expect that the upcoming camera, (what’s may be the name), will definitely come with more improved feature comparative to Sony A7rIII. Hence we have to wait for few more days for more confirmations.
