Resolutions- Panasonic uses the same size of Sensor in GX80 as well as GX8 that is Micro four thirds (17.3 x 13 mm) but GX8 uses 20.3MP resolution that will be mighty effective than the 16 mp of GX8 in bringing the users the exceptional quality of images.

Low pass filter- Panasonic makes the GX80 more advanced comparison to any other cameras without low pass filter available in the current time. GX80 Leaves off Anti Aliasing filter that will excellently increase clarity of images by 10%. But Panasonic GX8 uses low pass filter, means the camera will not achieve the same resolutions as GX80 does.

Image Stabilization– Another important features that GX80 gains is its immersive 5-Axis dual Image stabilization combining with O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer, 2-axis) and a B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer, 5-axis), that is powerfully suppress the blur from the image, which appears due to unwanted camera shake problem. Or in other words the users got the freedom to shoot the blur free photos and videos even in the low light situations. By the way, Panasonic GX8 does also have Dual IS but 5-Axis dual Image Stabilization is far effective to suppress the camera shake problem.

Shooting speed- You have lesser chance to image blur while shooting with GX8 than GX80 because the camera offers continuous shooting speed of 10 fps that will smoothly capture each action of the desired subjects, resulting much sharper images will be produced at any shooting condition.

After all the AF systems of the cameras are just same (Contrast based) using the 49 AF points as well as both can record 4K video.

Verdict- We would suggest this GX80 camera to those who are searching an alternative to DSLR camera at attainable price and want some brilliant specifications too.
