Sensors:-

Nikon D5 has 21MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor supported by the upgraded and advanced EXPEED 5 Image Processor to produce high resolution images with better color combination in various situations with high sensitivity as well as delivers magnificent images with better quality while Canon 1DX Mark II has 20.2MP CMOS sensor supported by Dual DIGIC6 + image processor to produce better images as well as also features extraordinary video capability. Canon 1DX Mark II is the world’s first camera comes with Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor.

Nikon D5 has much better ISO of 50-3280000 comparative to Canon 1DX Mark II, which has ISO of 100-51200 (expanded in 409600).

D5 captures 21MP images @ 14fps while Canon 1DX Mark II captures 20MP images @16fps.

AF System:-

Nikon D5 has 153-point Multi-CAM 20k Autofocus System which includes 99 cross-type sensors for improved subject recognition, and 55- points for better compositional performance while Canon 1DX Mark II has comparative low AF points of 61-point with 41-point cross –type .

Canon 1DX Mark II has continuous shooting speed of 16fps while Nikon D5 has continuous shooting speed of 14fps.
