Sensor- The Sony newly developed CMOS APS-C AF sensor features 24 MP resolution on the other hand small but popular 4/3 sensor features 20 MP resolution.

The Sony A6300 features more sensor size and hence more light gathered on the sensor results better low-light images. The ISO range of the of Sony A6300 is also 1-stop more than the Olympus PEN-F camera, hence there is no doubt that 6300 will give you more dynamic range and better low-light performance.

The other big difference is Hybrid vs traditional sensor, the Sony uses a Hybrid CMOS sensor has built in 429 Phase AF points and 169-area contrast detection system for quick and precise focusing performance. But, Olympus PEN F camera sensor is based on traditional CMOS sensor that’s limited to contrast based AF only.

Hence the Sony A6300 sensor is based on advance technology and helps to acquire quick AF and give better low-light performance.

No optical low pass filter inside the Olympus PEN-f ensures you that it will give you super sharp images even when viewed at 100%.

Olympus 5-axis Image stabilization system compensate camera shake by up to 5 stops with any lens, the 5 axis system works across five axes to compensate for vertical angle rotation, horizontal angle rotation, horizontal shift, vertical shift, and rolling camera shake movement. No built-in Image stabilization system available in Sony A6300.’High resoutiom mode

AF System:-Due to the introduction of 4D FOCUS system, Sony a6300 features 425-point on-sensor phase-detection AF system with a 169-area contrast detection system for quick and detailed focusing performance. The increased density of focusing points is due to its hybrid AF system and also it enables more superior and accurate High-density Tracking AF which helps it to track action objects in random speed in various lighting conditions while Olympus PEN-F’s high-speed  shooting capabilities make the users to capture the action objects at 10 fps with the mechanical shutter, 5 fps with C-AF, and an extraordinary 20 fps with Silent Mode.

The latest 4D FOCUS system supports the Sony a6300 to focus in different variants with accuracy with a least time of 0.05 seconds compare to Olympus PEN-F.

Hence undoubtedly, the more advance AF points of  Sony a6300 helps the users to grab more AF area of the screen and locates the real subject more quickly. Moreover,  it is also beneficial for tracking fast moving subjects and also the users can track the subject more effectively compare to Olympus PEN F.

ISO:-Sony a6300 has ISO 100-51200, while Olympus PEN F has ISO 80-25600.

Hence there is 1 stop increase in expanded ISO of Sony a6300 compare to Olympus PEN F.

Increased ISO of Sony a6300 is definitely better for users to capture images in low light as well as changing light conditions in compare to Olympus PEN F.

The more ISO of Sony a6300 makes it suitable for all kinds of shooting environment while the lesser ISO makes the Sony a6300 suitable for shooting in bright conditions.

Image Stabilization:-Olympus PEN F has a 5-axis In-body image stabilization system which helps to reduce the appearance of camera shake by up to 5 stops, since it is applicable for any lens. It also works to compensate the vertical angle rotation, horizontal angle rotation; horizontal shift, vertical shift, and rolling camera shake movement during photography.

Due to its presence, the new users need not to worry about their unwanted hand-shake during capturing images and they can get impressive result during photography.

While there is no image stabilization system present in Sony a6300.

Continuous shooting speed:-Sony a6300 has Continuous shooting speed of 11fps while Olympus PEN F has a bit slower with 10fps.

So, Sony a6300 will perform well with better result during capturing fast action objects and also can track each and every action of the fast moving subjects more instantly compare to Olympus PEN F.

Video:-Sony a6300 offers Internal recording of UHD 4K movies in multiple frame rates up to 30 fps and, based on the Super 35mm recording area and also it supports Full HD 1080p recording in frame rates up to 120 fps while Olympus PEN F offers Full HD 1080p video recording to 60fps.

Hence the professionals will definitely like to go with the impressive video quality of Sony a6300.

Verdict:-Since the introduction of higher resolutions, advanced image processor , more AF Points ,higher ISO , fast continuous speed and 4K video quality makes the

Sony a6300 superior to Olympus PEN F. Hence if you decide to buy then you should definitely like to go with Sony a6300.
