Megapixel- The resolutions as well as the sensor sizes of both the cameras are same, having 24 megapixel of resolution and the using the same APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm) sensor. So one thing is pretty clear that that the photographers can’t complaints about the quality of the images. The same clarity and the sharpness will be in the images of both the two cameras.

AF system- The advanced AF system on the new A68 camera features 79 phase detection AF point that includes 15 cross points within the sensor, and a new kind of algorithm also added to the AF system to predict the movement of the subjects and then the camera will impressively track the fast moving subjects in anyhow conditions of shooting. Whereas, the Canon 760D has a very less AF points that is 19 only. So slow tracking of the subjects as compare to Sony A68.

Continuous shooting speed- You can enjoy capturing your favorite action moments using the A68’s 8 frame per second continuous shooting mode. But the 760D will offer you only 5 frames per second of continuous speeds.

Videos– Full HD movies (1080) can be recorded at 50mbps by using the efficient Sony A68 camera with rich detail and low noise.

Display- On the rear side of the Canon 760D, a Vari-Angle 3″ Pivoting Touch Screen LCD with 1, 40,000 Screen Dots for easy shooting high and low angles in all kind of situations.

Viewfinder- The 100% frame coverage of Sony A68 assures you to see exactly what you’re shooting or in other words your camera sensor is focused on, with high contrast and natural color helping you focus manually with confidence.

By the way, both the two cameras have been engineered with image stabilization that will not allow the appearance of camera shake onto the images and deliver you the blur free images, on the other hand ISO range offered by both the two cameras are exact same so dimlight photography will be confidently done with both the two cameras (Sony A68 and Canon 760D).

Verdicts- the most attracting and must demanding specifications of the Sony A68 are it AF system and continuous shooting speed, which are creating a positive impression among the photographers. So looking at the overall comparison our conclusion is, if you spare your savings on Sony A68, then you will not be duped and can enjoy the photography too.
